There is a traffic jam on the A2 in the direction from Den Bosch to Maastricht for more than an hour. There was an accident with a truck there. The right lane is therefore closed and traffic is diverted via the N2.
This gives us the scoop on the very first traffic jam on Boxing Day. There has been a pile-up between several vehicles, including one truck, which now have to be recovered.
Rijkswaterstaat expects to reopen the road around one o’clock this afternoon.
