Nikula has published a picture of the destroyed oil tank near Moscow in the Kapotnya area, which Ukraine hit heavily with drones on Thursday.
If the publication is not visible, you can view it from here.
Nikula writes his midsummer greetings in the caption of the publication.
– Happy Midsummer! You can’t light bonfires in the city, so I settle for admiring the pyrotechnic skills of others. This is the most beautiful Midsummer bonfire ever. So far!
Nikula’s publication can be interpreted as a clear reference to Ukraine’s large drone attack on Moscow on Thursday.
In recent years, Nikula has become known as an active supporter of Ukraine. Already at the beginning of the war, Nikula traveled with his entourage to the border of Ukraine by car, and transported aid supplies to the country.
Nikula’s spouse Hanna Karttunen, Helena Ahti-Hallberg’s spouse included in the group on the trip Eric Hallberg and their son Anton Hallberg.
Jone Nikula is best remembered as the longtime host of Radio Rock. In 2025, he started as a presenter on Radio City’s afternoon.
