The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested this Monday the truck driver as alleged perpetrator of three reckless homicides after a multiple accident in which they have been involved four cars and a truck on the AP-7 at the height of Barberà del Vallès (Barcelona).
In a note on Twitter collected by Europa Press, the Catalan police have reported the arrest of this man, involved in the multiple accident in which one of the cars caught fire and three people have died: the occupant of the burned car and two of subsequent passengers in another passenger car.

What’s more, ten people have been injured of different considerations: one in critical condition, transferred to the Parc Taulí Hospital in Sabadell (Barcelona); another serious one, to Mutua de Terrassa (Barcelona); six less serious, also to these hospital centers and the Terrassa Hospital; a minor person who has gone to the CUAP Sant Fèlix de Sabadell, and another discharged on the spot, the Catalan police reported in a statement.
As a result of the incident, four Mossos d’Esquadra patrols, five Generalitat Fire Brigade crews, and thirteen ambulances and the medical helicopter of the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) have been activated.
