A Teletext tattoo unique? These football fans can benefit from it too

Shakky had the Teletext position of the Eredivisie tattooed on his body on Saturday, in which Ajax is at the bottom. A special choice and tattoo, but it is certainly not unique. These football fans preceded Shakky.

7-year-old with PSV tattoo
Five years ago he instantly became one of the most famous PSV fans in the country. 7-year-old Cristiano Bovers was pictured by Fox Sports jumping for joy with a burning torch in his hand in the stands. On his stomach was a huge fake tattoo of the PSV logo with the text champion 2018. Cristiano later had his ‘decal’ updated at Corner82 in Eindhoven. Omroep Brabant was also there.

Brabant football fan walks with half a tattoo
During the corona crisis in 2020, he was forced to walk around with an unfinished tattoo for several months, but the tattoo artists were allowed to complete the artwork on the left arm of Joop van Nistelrooij from Den Bosch a few months later. With the logos of his favorite clubs Feyenoord, Manchester City and Millwall (Joop left the Brabant clubs for what they were), the final touches were put to the exuberant tattoo of the football fan from Den Bosch.

Oops
Willem II supporter Wesley Raaijmakers was so sure in 2019 that his club would win the cup final against Ajax that he had already put a tattoo of the cup on his back. However, his club did not take home the prize. It can change. That’s why Raaijmakers went back to the shop a few days later to make some adjustments to the tattoo. The end result was better than the result of the cup final, Wesley thought.

10-0!
This one is also special. In 2009, after PSV’s 10-0 victory over Feyenoord, PSV fan and Eindhove resident Jos Hofman had a tattoo of 20 by 30 centimeters placed on his back with the text: ‘PSV 10-0’. He also added a cockroach that symbolizes Feyenoord. Jos even later considers getting another tattoo about that victory. It is unclear whether that happened.

A tattoo for Van der Meyde
In the end it didn’t happen, but the hard core of PSV once seriously offered former player Andy van der Meyde a PSV tattoo. The owners of supporters café De Aftrap wanted to welcome Van der Meyde to the club in this fun way. Van der Meyde had had a tattoo of Ajax on his lower leg in the past and that went down the wrong way with many PSV supporters.
