Mikko Rantanen is a hard boy to eat – or at least he was.
Mikko Rantanen has changed his ways. PDO
Currently working as a TV commentator Eric Johnson interviewed Mikko from Ranta before the top game between Colorado and Dallas. The two know each other from their days in Colorado.
Johnson revealed one surprising feature of the Finn to the viewers.
– We played together for ten years, and I’ve never seen anyone eat as much as you. You styled four dinners a day, Johnson colored.
The former top defender also let it be understood that Rantanen paid restaurant bills less often when the players went out to eat together.
– I know you went out with the guys last night. Who took care of the bill and Did you take someone’s 700 gram sirloin? Johnson asked Rantase.
– I paid for it, Rantanen answered unexpectedly.
– It’s not possible! Johnson stated.
– Yes, I took care of it. I have changed, Rantanen claimed.
In addition to saying that he paid the bill, Rantanen also revealed that he eats less these days.
– I am 30 years old now. I can’t eat that much anymore or it shows on the scale, but I remember I used to eat a lot.
Ilta-Sanom according to Johnson had said on the ESPN broadcast that Rantanen could still order pizza, quesadillas and sandwiches to the hotel room after the restaurant dinners.
– I asked Mikko, how can you even play tomorrow. He has an endless appetite, Johnson joked on ESPN’s broadcast, according to IS.
Despite the huge amounts of food, the Finn’s body was said to be like a marble sculpture, because he worked out by Nathan MacKinnon with a hard training program.
