A Story of COLORS & SONS Autumn / Winter 22: “From Court to Street”

Imagine walking through London – or any other big metropolis.
The scenery is blurred in the cold winter haze and smoke from the traffic. You get the feeling of strolling through an old retro photograph.

At the bus stop next to you, people are waiting in thick puffer coats to protect you from the cold. A group of friends is sitting in front of the café on the next corner, relaxing, sipping coffee, snuggling into their winter sweaters, their sleeves over their wrists and watching the hustle and bustle of the city.

All sorts of people meet you on the street.
Business people rushing to the next meeting on the phone, students carrying their stacks of books, couples doing shopping, street style gurus looking for their next inspiration.

Across the street, behind the large brick walls of an old building, is a prestigious sports club. Through the entrance in the archway you can catch a glimpse of people playing cricket and tennis in old-school sportswear.

You stroll on, stopping for a moment to watch street performers create works of art that look just as crazy and flashy as they do.
A few blocks further you will pass a college. Students lean against the outside walls, chat with each other, check their timetables and wear jackets reminiscent of Andrew Clark in “The Breakfast Club”.

You stroll on.
