NHL superstar Nathan MacKinnon ended up being the target of a eavesdropping when his team, the Colorado Avalanche, had an off day during the playoffs.
The video shows 30-year-old MacKinnon swimming in the hotel pool. The most special feature of the clip is that MacKinnon is not only relaxing in the pool, but swimming in the water with a snorkel mask and flippers.
The stealth video in question has already been viewed 4.3 million times on the X service alone.
The video surfaced when the Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar was interviewed by the media at the press conference.
– He (MacKinnon) turns over every stone. “Nate” is a guy who likes to think outside the box and is willing to try something new. It is clear that he has improved since his rookie days, Bednar stated.
According to Bednar, MacKinnon has improved through both his attitude and accumulated experience.
– He wants to see what works for him, Bednar summed up.
The Avalanche will meet the Minnesota Wild in the second round of the NHL playoffs. The situation in the series narrowed in Finnish time last night, when the Wild won the third match with a score of 5–1.
The Avalanche lead the series 2–1. The next fight will take place on the night before Tuesday Finnish time.
