Saturday Night Live program featured a sketch about US President Donald Trump and the dead businessman Jeffrey Epstein.
The relationship between Trump and Epstein has people talking because of the so-called Epstein knot.
In the SNL sketch, Epstein is played by Will Ferrell and Trump is played James Austin Johnson. In the sketch, Epstein’s ghost visits Trump. Epstein calls Trump his best friend.
– What is heaven like, Johnson’s Trump asks.
– It’s really, really hot, Epstein, played by Ferrel, answers.
It hurts Trump’s character that his approval ratings are around 30 percent.
– Oh, in your thirties? Disgusting. Call me when it’s 17, Epstein’s character snaps.
Jeffrey Epstein was a sex offender convicted of several crimes.
One of the sketch’s darkest jokes is heard in the scene where Trump asks Epstein to give him the upper hand.
– You know what, this time I’ll leave you hanging, the fictional Epstein character says, referring to Epstein’s death in prison.
The sketch also jokes about, among other things, the images revealed in connection with the skein.
– We had fun moments together. We should have taken more pictures, Epstein’s character says.
– No. It’s too bad we took one, Trump’s character replies.

The sketch has shared opinions on social media. Many express their shock on the messaging service X.
– Haha, it’s fun to joke about the crimes of pedophiles. Damn freaks! SNL is corrupted.
– This is rough. I genuinely wonder how any human can find this even remotely funny.

On Facebook, the sketch seems to have received a more positive reception. According to someone, “jokes literally write themselves”.

The Epstein allegations against Trump have caused a stir among the president’s staunch supporters. Many of them believed in the conspiracy theory that Trump is fighting a “satanic pedophile ring” run by crooked Democrats.
Some of the core supporters have started to criticize Trump and his administration’s actions in connection with the skein. They have wondered why more new revelations have not been made.
The Trump administration has released a record amount of materials related to the skein. British Channel 4 -channel’s report in February shows that the vast majority of the material is still hidden from the public.
Although Trump and Epstein’s past acquaintance has sparked public debate, no evidence of wrongdoing or complicity in Epstein’s crimes has been presented against Trump.
