A Professor 2 it is produced by Banijay Studios, filmed in Rome, directed by Alessandro Casale and the second season consists of 12 episodes divided into 6 weeks. The fiction is inspired by the Spanish series Merlì by Héctor Lozano. In the new episodes we see that the relationship between Dante and Anita becomes increasingly stronger despite the arrival of Floriana, Dante’s ex who will end up living with him, and Nicola, a mysterious man from Anita’s past.

The first of two episodes of A professor tonight on Rai 1, Thursday 30 November is “dedicated” to Heidegger, in fact each episode has a philosopher and a reference to his thought as its title. So the third episode of the second season is called Heidegger Authentic existence. In the previews of the episode we discover that Floriana, Anita and Dante find themselves living together in the same villa and the situation obviously creates embarrassment. Viola decides to enroll in Da Vinci high school, encouraged by Dante. Meanwhile, Simone is summoned to the presidency after Ernesto’s injury, in fact his friends said that the two had argued in the gym. Dante in the hospital asks a doctor friend for support.

The fourth episode is David Hume Beauty, in the previews we see that Simone, suspended for 10 days, talks to Dante and confesses to him what happened involving Mimmo. There begins to be some tenderness between Viola and Ryan but during a party she becomes jealous and she decides not to return to school. Luna receives messages from an unknown admirer. Nina confesses to Manuel that she has a daughter who was taken away from her by social services. Dante is not well and goes on visits, while Nicola asks him to convince Viola to go back to school.

The cast of A professor sees the presence of several well-known faces such as Alessandro Gassmann in the role of professor Dante Balestra, who is the father of Simone, played by the star on the rise, Nicolas Maupas. Claudia Pandolfi Anita is Manuel’s mother (Damiano Gavino), the repeating student whom Dante took under his wing. Among the new features of the season is Nina played by Margherita Agresti, a girl of Polish origins who hides a complicated life path.
