The League of Nations game in Austria was full of surprises.

Denmark eventually won a remarkable match 2-1. EPA / AOP

Strange things happened in the encounter between the League of Nations and Austria and Denmark.

Just before the start of the match, the electricity was cut off from the Austrian stadium. The match had to be delayed by an hour and a half.

– One of the strangest things I’ve ever seen, said a Danish player Yussuf Poulsen Extra extradited.

However, the crowd was not even a mishap from the power outage, and a Mexican wave began to tour the stadium. In the dark, people still had their phone flashlights on, which made the atmosphere even more amazing.

However, the strangeness did not end there. Denmark won the match 2-1, but after the final whistle a giant pit appeared in the middle of the field.

A few players went to test the depth of the hole. The players’ legs sank to a remarkable sink.

The Austrian Football Association said it was examining the field with an X-ray machine so that the next League of Nations match against France could be played at the stadium on Friday.

An X-ray report was sent to Uefa, who gave permission for the stadium to host the France game. The depression is thought to be due to heavy rains that whipped the area before the Danish game.

The rains caused the groundwater to rise, causing the grass to strangely sink into the middle of the field.
