Aamulehti reports on the closure of a popular local coffee shop in Tampere.

The Bakery Cafe in the center of Tampere will close its doors at the end of March. It was opened in 2016.
Cafe entrepreneur and CEO Kimmo Alarotu died of a sudden illness in the fall of 2025.
He also managed the Tampere-based barbershop Hair Garage, founded in 1993, which has now been sold. Her spouse, a makeup artist Ilkka Ruotsalainentold Aamulehte that running the cafe and hair salon became too difficult after the death.
The Swede was also involved in the operations of both companies and also runs his own make-up company. He told Aamulehti that he feels wistful, but relieved.
– The reason for stopping is this personal tragedy, Ruotsalainen said.
