A dead and five people injured, of varying degrees, is the result of a multiple hit-and-run occurred late this Monday in the parking lot of the health center in the Rioja town of Haro, the Government Delegation in La Rioja has reported. The event occurred around 10:25 p.m., when the driver, a 26-year-old man, entered the parking lot at high speed and injured six people.
Of the six people injured, two of them have been seriously injured, with cardiorespiratory arrest and one of them, a health worker from the center, has died. All the injured have been transferred to the San Pedro de Logroño Hospital, SOS-Rioja has reported.
The driver, a 26-year-old man, has been arrested after the event.
