-We are pleased that the new channel has attracted young people to the radio who are often said to consume other forms of audio instead of the traditional FM radio. This has been one of our goals from the outset – our intention is to keep radio viable for future generations. We will continue to develop the channel on the line of our choice, listening to the wishes of the audience with a sensitive ear, comments POP FM success of the channel’s Operations Director Cia -awake in the bulletin.

POP FM broadcasts started on 16 April. The channel received a license and a wide range of coverage released from Yle Speech.
