New allegations are spreading about the activities of ex-Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, says BBC.

According to the BBC, emails were handed over to Buckingham Palace six years ago that show Andrew shared confidential information while acting as Britain’s trade representative. BBC information is based on legal documents.

According to the BBC, it is about 30,000 emails that contain information about the former prince’s financial activities. The information has been handed over to the British Lord Chamberlain in 2020.

According to the BBC, the messages were received from Andrew’s personal business acquaintance. The BBC says that the business acquaintance would be a British businessman Jonathan Rowland.

Buckingham Palace is tight-lipped about what happened to the emails.

– As Mountbatten-Windsor is the subject of an ongoing police investigation, we cannot comment on these matters, the palace commented to the BBC.

According to the BBC, 30,000 e-mails have been processed in court in 2021. According to the Supreme Court’s decision in April 2021, a copy of the message archive was given to the Lord Chamberlain in May 2020.

According to the BBC, the earliest messages are from 2013. The content of the messages is not fully known.

Telegraph reported earlier this year that Andrew had sent a Treasury note to his banker friend while he was a trade ambassador.

According to the newspaper, Andrew to his assistant private secretary To Amanda Thirsk tasked with obtaining an internal government memo in February 2010 regarding Iceland’s financial crisis. The financial crisis dates back to 2008–2011, when three of the country’s largest banks collapsed.

The ex-prince was arrested in February on suspicion of abuse of office. The arrest came shortly after the US Department of Justice released documents related to notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

At the beginning of May, the Daily Mail reported that the official misconduct investigation against Andrew also covers a range of other crimes such as sexual misconduct and corruption. The malfeasance investigation is expected to continue for a long time.
