A National Football Team, which will face Italy in a special match on Tuesday, March 29, continued its preparations with double training.
According to the statement made on the website of the Turkish Football Federation, the crescent-star team performed strength exercises in the first training of the day, while the evening training was held at the Kayacık Facilities of İttifak Holding Konyaspor.
The training under the management of coach Stefan Kuntz focused on offensive and defensive variations, and the training ended with a tactical match.
Yusuf Yazici, who has a slight injury, did not participate in today’s training.

Konyaspor President Fatih Özgökçen visited TFF Board Member responsible for national teams Hamit Altıntop and A National Team Coach Stefan Kuntz before training.
Wishing success to the crescent-star team against Italy, Özgökçen presented Altıntop and Kuntz with a specially prepared Konyaspor jersey, while Altıntop gave Özgökçen a signed national team jersey.
Fatih Özgökçen said that it gives them happiness to have the national team in Konya, “We always want to host our team in Konya. Konya and our stadium have always been auspicious for the national team.” said. Stefan Kuntz, on the other hand, told Özgökçen, “I heard about Konya’s luck too. I hope we see it on Tuesday.” he replied.
Özgökçen, on Kuntz’s praising words about Abdülkerim Bardakcı, said, “We expect you to recruit more players from Konyaspor.” Kuntz said, “After I started watching the teams, I saw that some Anatolian clubs acted with a very good philosophy and were on the right track. Konyaspor is one of these clubs. I congratulate you.” said.
Nationals will continue their preparations on Monday at 18.30 with the training they will do at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium, where the match will be played.
