The plane carrying the crescent-star convoy landed from Istanbul to Billund, Denmark, and then to Vagar Airport in the Faroe Islands. The nationals went to the hotel where they would stay by bus.
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Mehmet Büyükekşi and TFF Board Member and National Team Manager Hamit Altıntop were also present in the convoy.
Umut Bozok, Ravil Tagir and Berkay Özcan, who were included in the candidate squad after the Luxembourg match played yesterday, also took part in the convoy.
Another name included in the squad, Cenk Özkaçar, arrived in the Faroe Islands in the morning before the crescent-star caravan and went to the hotel where the team would stay.
The Faroe Islands-Turkey match will be played on Sunday, September 25 at 21:45 CEST at Torsvollur Stadium.
