showbizThe Dutch theme park Efteling will be 70 years old in May. A milestone that cannot pass unnoticed. Various festivities are therefore planned. For example, there will be a musical show ‘Efteling in concert’. The latter will also be on display in our country in 2023.
In the show, the Dutch Metropole Orchestra will play a specially developed suite. The aim is to take the spectators on a musical journey through the park. ‘Efteling in concert’ will be shown for the first time this autumn in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and in the Ahoy in Rotterdam. In January 2023 it will be the turn of the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. Anyone who wants to can register for the pre-registration from Thursday. The presale will start on April 9. The effective sale starts on April 16.
Temporary fairy tale
In addition, visitors can also celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Efteling this year by taking part in a fairytale scene. With a nod to the children’s book ‘Alice in Wonderland’ by British author Lewis Carroll, the amusement park opens the new, temporary fairy tale Efteling Wonderland.
Visitors enter the vegetable garden of the March Hare through a rabbit hole. There are various things to experience. There is also room for music and dance. Anyone who comes by can already sit down at a festively set tea table with cakes and party hats. Visitors can drop by and leave at any time.
