A 57-year-old man has died tonight by being hit by a car at kilometer 27 of the M-501 road, at the height of the Madrid municipality of Villanueva de Perales. A spokesman for Emergencies 112 of the Community of Madrid has informed EFE that around 10:30 p.m. the Emergency Coordination Center received a call alerting the event.

The victim was driving another vehicle with three other occupants that had broken down on the road, stopped on the shoulder and was hit by the small van.
The Civil Guard is in charge of investigating the accident and Firefighters from the Community of Madrid have cleared the road.
