‘A lot of anger in my buttocks’

Katja Schuurman went to a masseur yesterday because there was a lot of anger and sadness in her buttocks. “At one point I could barely walk normally, let alone sit.”

Well-known Dutch people have a kind of uninhibited need to share all their emotions on the socials. For example, Katja Schuurman has been musing for days about how empty she feels. “This morning the sun wouldn’t rise in my head. Emptiness, lethargy, gloom; resisting makes no sense,” she typed last weekend.

Breath in breath out

Katja resigns herself to those kinds of feelings. “Accept that it is the case, don’t panic, know that everything always passes, the beautiful but luckily also the bad. And at sunset the sun came up again ???☺️.”

All her celebrities friends love that Katja talks about it all on the socials. For example, Babette van Veen says: “Exhale in your breath, you got this! Everyone has worse days! Good for everyone that you just say it! ❤️”

furious buttocks

Apparently it didn’t really help Katja, because last night she let us know that she went to the masseur to have her furious buttocks treated. “Your body holds emotions in the strangest places. My buttocks have apparently been stable for unprocessed sadness and anger lately.”

Furious buttocks, how does that feel exactly? “At one point I could barely walk normally, let alone sit.”

‘Pain is nice’

Katja’s buttocks are now back in top shape. “What wonderful doctors some masseurs are! With all the love they put into you, and how they not only make your muscles supple, but also let your energy flow freely again.”

Katja also shares five hashtags: “#massage #energy #emotion #pijnisfijn #letitflow.”
