It is the dream of many men: a life between bras. For Dirk in ‘t Veld (83) it has been a reality all his life. His mother sold women’s lingerie and he followed her example in the early 1960s. He would have liked to continue as a market vendor for years to come, but after a stroke, that is no longer possible. “It took a long time before I was accepted by my customers.”
