A karter who got out of a rally car was injured in Central Finland – Another car collided

The driver was slightly injured.

There was an accident at the RTP Petäjävesi rally on Saturday. The map reader of one car was slightly injured and had to undergo further treatment.

It was reported from the situation center of the rescue service of Central Finland that in the special test run in Kuhu, one car had first driven off the route. That situation did not cause major damage yet.

The accident happened when the car’s map reader had gotten out of the car and the rally car coming from behind collided with the stopped vehicle.

The rescue service could not say how fast the crashed rally car was going in the situation.

The special test was cancelled, but the competition was allowed to continue. Kuohu is a settlement located in the western part of Jyväskylä.

The RTP Petäjävesi rally is a competition under the Finnish Motor Sports Association. This year, there are 86 participants in the competition.
