A forgotten delicacy made a comeback: Here is the new hit of Christmas buffets

This year, a few forgotten dishes make a spectacular return to ships’ Christmas buffets. This Christmas season, one even forgotten traditional dessert with many names rushed into the ships’ popular Christmas buffets. It is a creamy, cold rice dessert flavored with vanilla and usually citrus fruit. It is called by many names: Ris à la Malta, orange rice or Maltese or Victorian rice, pudding or kiisseli. It was represented on the Christmas dessert buffets of each of the three ships.
