Warrington Town’s goalkeeper in the semi-professional football league in England Tony Thompson was subjected to a cruel prank. According to the Daily Mail, a Guiseley AFC supporter standing behind the goal in the FA Trophy match went to replace a player’s drinking bottle with one containing urine.

Unfortunately, Thompson had time to taste the disgusting concoction before noticing something rotten in it. Enraged by this, the goalkeeper sprayed the contents of the bottle at the opponent’s fan. The referee had to intervene in the dispute and gave Thompson a red card.

Thompson later wrote on Twitter that he had lost his love for football. He was also upset about the suspension he received.

– I’ve been barked at many times, but the fact that I shouldn’t react when someone pisses in my bottle and tricks me into drinking from it is incomprehensible. That person risked my health and that of my loved ones.

The minor league soccer player’s tweet has collected 45.6 thousand likes by Monday.

The clubs plan to cooperate with the police in finding out the fan’s identity.
