A documentary film will be released about Vesa-Matti Loir

The documentary will be released on December 17.

Entertainer Vesa-Matti Loiri died August 10. A documentary about Loir, who has made an impact in the Finnish entertainment world, will be released in December VESKU – a vagabond of laughter and sorrowMTV says in the announcement.

In the documentary film produced by MTV, Loir’s loved ones get to speak. Her life is told by actress and Loir’s goddaughter Kiti Kokkonen and her acting colleagues Heikki KinnunenVesa Vierikko and Hannele Lauri.

The film was written and directed by an MTV news reporter Kari Pyrhönen.

In the film, Loir’s close circle is heard reminiscing about the life of an entertainment artist. Jussi Eskola

The release states that the documentary discusses the birth of Loir’s sketch characters and what his legendary character Uuno Turhapuro meant to Loir himself. The film also features video footage from the archives.
