Finland and Sweden will meet in the semifinals of the under-20 World Cup tournament on Saturday at 10:30 PM in the Canadian capital, Ottawa.
The pressure is huge on the players of both teams, even though it is a Junior sports event.
– Saturday’s game will be played in a big arena. I can’t say how the pressure affects the teams. All in all, I think there is too much pressure on the necks of these young players in this tournament, the well-known commentator of the TSN channel Gord Miller says.
Miller is certainly speaking a little from Canada’s point of view, as the country was already eliminated in the quarter-finals and the players and coaching are currently heavily criticized in the country.
The same thing happened a year ago.

Miller is not just any mic guy. The media personality, who is very well known in Canada, is going on his 30th time in commentary work at the under-20 World Cup.
The man explains a lot more.
– The meeting with Sweden guarantees that Takuu will get the best out of the Finnish team. That’s how it’s always been. The teams play well with different styles. Sweden is much more straightforward, Finland’s way of playing is more controlled.
The Finnish team has had two faces in the World Cup tournament.
– The team we saw against the USA was very different from the one we saw against Canada. If we see the same Finland as the USA match, you have a great chance to win the match.
The second semi-final pair of the World Cup tournament is USA-Czech Republic. The final and the bronze game will be played on Sunday.
