Moved from Columbus to Montreal last summer Patrick Laine caused quite a stir when he criticized his former club in a rare way.

– He wouldn’t have had to say anything else. Or he could have said that it was hard here and losing was hard on everyone. It wouldn’t have been necessary to say that “getting lost was ok”, because then you would be pointing the finger at people. They don’t want to hear that.
Columbus star pack Zach Werenski admitted that Laine’s comments got the team talking in the locker room.
