Geneve-Servette dominated the match, but experienced a clear 2-5 loss to Lausanne in the quarter-finals of the Swiss league on Wednesday in front of their home crowd.

Lausanne took a 2–1 lead in the series and took home advantage at the same time. The next match will be played on Friday in the home cave of Lausanne.

Geneve-Servette was third in the regular season, Lausanne sixth.

The teams got really hot towards the end of the final set. Also Jesse Puljujärvi and Markus Granlund thrashed and wrestled quite briskly Kevin Paschen goal, when Geneve-Servette was fiercely searching for narrow goals.
