25-year-old hockey player Orca Wiesblatt Died last weekend in a car accident in British Colombia.
Wiesblatt was supposed to represent the ECHL Society Allen Americans in the coming season.
– The hearts of all of us broke. Orca was really waiting a lot of this next step in her hockey, Americans GM Steve Martinson says in the club’s bulletin.
Wiesblatt made his debut as a professional in the 2023-2024 season when he played the SPHL League in the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Last season, he represented the FPHL League Athens Rock Lobsters, from which the trip was to continue for the upcoming season in the ECHL.
– He was not just a skilled, he was a player who could change the game’s way with his tackles. I still remember his grin when he returned to the exchange bench after one big tackle. That’s what we will miss the most, his catchy smile, Martinson says.
Wiesblatt has three brothers from which Ozzy Wiesblatt23, played up to five games last season in the NHL in the Nashville Predators shirt. Oasiz Wiesblatt21, will play Nashville Farmen Club Milwaukee in Admirals in the coming season.
Ocean Wiesblatt26, played an ORCA teammate last season at FPHL at Athens Rock Lobsters and Dashers Hockey.

Kemell played two matches in the NHL last season and 65 games in the AHL as Oasiz Wiesblatt and Ozzy Wiesblatt.
