The Cork Marathon ended with tragedy.
A 24-year-old woman died on Sunday in a running competition in Cork in Ireland.
On the matter tells The Journal.
The woman participated in a half marathon. The woman’s condition collapsed just before getting to the finish and was rushed to help the paramedics. Along the route, the woman was rushed to a local hospital where she soon had to be declared dead.
According to The Journal, the cause of death is not known.
The woman, who was running in her home landscape, had a solid sports background from the swim side. He represented his country at the Youth Olympic Festival in 2015 and in the European Championships in Helsinki in 2018.
The Cork Marathon event program included a full -length and a half marathon and a 10,000 -meter race. More than 10,000 participants from nearly 30 countries went on to the journey.
