Publishing Blond on Friday (March 28) released their new song “So Hot”. On May 23, an entire album follows: I only dream of love.
I only dream of love is blonde’s third album
The band consists of three people: Nina Kummer sings and plays guitar, Lotta Kummer plays drums. Johann Bonitz also sings, plays bass and takes care of synthesizing.
According to Martini Sprite and Perlen, Blond’s formation published their third album in spring. In 2024 they also released a live version of pearls.
Data in a #metoo world in “So Hot” is dangerous
Her song “So Hot” tells of everyday life in patriarchal structures: “If I go to dates, I hover in danger” illustrates that you can treat violently at a meeting.

“Girlboss”: Social inequality is blinded
In her first single “Girlboss”, which she only dreamed of in the context of I, Nina Kummer sings: “Go shopping against the system”
According to the self-description: “The only possibility of action that is preliminary us turns out to be a (self-) fraud. Everything remains as it is and Flinta* are still exploited and suppressed.”
They draw attention to the fact that the topic of social inequality with identity finding is overestimated via consumption.
Blond not only speak, but also act
The band shows a political attitude not only in their songs, but also by their decision on how they want to handle the structures for their tour.
Because the tickets for your tour are sold via a buddy principle. Anyone who can afford it and is willing to pay for more than for themselves can deposit a self -selected amount of money in addition to their own ticket.
The collected amounts of money are used for supporters: indoor tickets. So cards for those who suffer from government decisions, the cuts in the social and cultural sector and inflation. Blond use the balanced ticket system, so that your concerts are neither elitist nor exclusive.
“I only dream of love” tour 2025
In November, Blond is on tour in Germany. There is also an appointment in Austria and Switzerland.
