The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that hit Myanmar and part of Southeast Asia was also warned in the capital of Thailand, shaking the buildings and making water overflow from the infinity pool on the roofs. A video, shot by a guest of the hotel, immortalized the moment when the sudden waves passed the edges of the tank, overturning in the void while the guests tried to keep calm.

Many poured into the street for the fear of collapses, while a skyscraper under construction has undergone serious damage and there are several missing.
