FC Emmen – Volendam 4-1
With the list leader from Volendam only two points away from pursuer Emmen, nothing less than the lead was at stake.

Emmen flew out of the starting blocks when Rui Mendes took advantage of a clumsy defense at Volendam with a wonderful action and hard hitting. Even before halftime, the home team was definitively in a seat, when Reda Kharchouch left from the edge of offside – or perhaps just slightly over it – and hit the target. It didn’t stop there, as Miguel Araujo made it 3-0 a few minutes later. Wandering Volendam, for a long time unapproachable in the lead in the KKD, also had to endure the 4-0 before the tea. Again Kharchouch was the celebrated man.
The ‘ten, ten, ten’ rolled off the stands, and Volendam coach Wim Jonk had no choice but to intervene hard during the break. With a completely new midfield, he tried to force something after the break.
With a goal of honor from Daryl van Mieghem, the flag hung a little better for Volendam in the second half, but there was no real comeback. For the time being, the Noord-Hollanders have to keep pace in the title fight.
FC Eindhoven – ADO The Hague 1-1
While the winner of Emmen – Volendam also had a chance of winning the third period in addition to the lead, it was FC Eindhoven that was on pole position for that prize. The people from Brabant had to deal with ADO at home.
That was not without a struggle, because after 20 minutes the visitors took the lead via Sem Steijn. Eindhoven, which had won the previous eight games, still tied the score via Joey Sleegers, but eventually had to leave the third period to Emmen.
Roda JC – De Graafschap 2-0
The wandering De Graafschap does not seem to be recovering this season. The Doetinchemmers also lost in Kerkrade. After clumsy communication between Hidde Jurjus and Ted van de Pavert, Patrick Pflücke was able to take advantage early on, after which Dylan Vente finished the job fifteen minutes before time on behalf of Roda JC.
