The port of Ostend is direct and indirectly good for around 10,000 jobs. Last year the Ro-Ro Autotrafiek was resumed with Toyota as an important partner. Operations on the heavy load terminal are also increasing. Charlotte Verkeyn, chairman of the Oostende Haven: “We do more than before, we diversify. One sees cars, RO-RO, new companies. Borealis.
