The small railway union announced for a whole week of actions, from Sunday evening, March 23 to Sunday evening March 30. The actions will be rotating, it sounded earlier, with the train drivers first placing the work and afterwards the train counselors. With the actions, Metispprotect wants to sue the savings in the track and the measures of the new government, such as the increase in retirement age.
On Sunday evening almost all P-student trains will run as normal, says NMBS Saturday. “Most of these trains leave and arrive before the start of the strike campaign, and therefore do not affect this.”
The NMBS advises travelers to prepare their journey well the following days, for example via the online travel planner. For the rest of the week, the alternative train service will be available one day in advance.
