Here you can watch a band at work. So literally-because Endless Wellness doesn’t even come on stage with their most heard Spotify songs to retire after a “Berlin, you were super” back on the tour bus. In addition to hits from the poetically beautiful debut album, the former Salzburg and today’s Viennese have a luck with songs that are not really finished. The vibe: A bit like poetry slam, they want to test their first designs live and continue to “hatch” the music with the audience, as they call it. They listen attentively when Philipp Auer’s feather voice sings about the rubber dinghy on the Landwehr Canal and supporting when Milena dares from her comfort zone to talk to them about the current political Doomsday feeling.
As an Austrian, they also fulfill their educational mandate in the neighboring country: vocabulary such as Nackapatzi, Tschick, Spatzi and Spebe should already sit – and Berlin is of course, 1 with asterisks. What she is also happy: Your audience has doubled since the last Berlin show in September 2024. It would have been more, the concert had been sold out for weeks. The new single “The good years” only appears on April 4, but we get to hear “an Oarge Mega Premiere” that evening. If that continues … what is still wonderful for us.
