Club trainer is annoyed by national coach Nagelsmann

Robin Gosens plays a strong season at AC Florence – yet national coach Julian Nagelsmann does without the defender. Club trainer Raffaele Palladino shows little understanding.
Coach Raffaele Palladino from the Italian club AC Florenz criticized the non-nomination of Robin Gosens for the National League game against Italy. “I honestly say: I’m surprised at the lack of nomination. I am not a national coach, but Gosens is experiencing a great season and also scores on the offensive,” said Palladino before the game against Juventus Turin on Sunday evening.
Despite good performances in the club, national coach Julian Nagelsmann had not appointed his 23-man squad for the quarter-finals of the Nations League. Palladino praised the 29-year-old as a “captain without sash” and as a “fixed star for the whole team”. He also emphasized: “He is one of the best defenders in series A.”
The German national team starts on Monday with the preparation for the National League games against Italy on March 20 in Milan and against the DFB selection three days later in Dortmund.
