Plug from Europe’s electrical hope: how could things go so wrong at the Swedish North Volt?

North Volt had to be the answer to the Chinese dominance on the electric battery market. In the north of Sweden, a factory was erected from which batteries had to flow onto the European market for, among other things, electric cars. This week the plug went out of the company, North Volt is bankrupt and five thousand employees are on the street. How could it go so wrong with Europe’s green hope?
