The Cuba electricity grid dropped out on Friday evening, reported the Cuban Ministry of Energy and Mijnen. As a result, millions of people are without electricity. According to the ministry, the power failure was caused by a malfunction in an electric substation, part of the network that divides voltage between different power networks.
