Orbán gets a battle at home: three Russians canceled from European sanctions list after pressure from Hungary

It was a race against the clock, partly due to pressure from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, but the European Union (EU) has indeed extended the sanctions against 2,400 Russian persons, companies and other entities. This confirms a diplomatic source to HLN. Four people have been removed from the list, in addition to three deceased, according to a press release from the EU Council.
