46 percent of Canadians want to become members of the EU: “is not going to happen,” says European Commission

A poll shows that 46 percent of Canadians are in favor of EU membership. There is significantly more enthusiasm for this membership than for joining the United States as 51st, which is only supported by 10 percent of the Canadians. Despite this enthusiasm, Canada will probably never actually join the EU, because this is legally impossible.
