The emergency services had a mountain of work for winter sports enthusiasts in need this season. The number of requests for help from the Alps rose to unprecedented heights. Between December 2024 and March 2025, the ANWB Emergency Center received nearly 13,000 requests from help from Dutch people in the Alpine countries. This is an increase of 13 percent compared to last season.
