With a broad grin, Han van de Rhee overlooks the lawn of the Telstar stadium. “Tasty with a badminton racket slapping against the balloon,” he says with a Schalse smile from the lounge. “I was able to enjoy myself.” For the 86-year-old IJmuidenaar, the Loneliness Benada event was a great opportunity to keep moving and meet new people.

The biggest crowd puller of the day was the movement course of Olga Commandeur. The athletics champion and TV personality, but above all RAS-Velsenaar, managed to motivate the visitors with her famous exercises. And as always she had an important message: “Moving is good, but good exercise is better.”

Han listened carefully. “Olga is just familiar. I participated with her lessons in front of TV for years.”
