Jonas Vingegaard with bloody lip loses leader’s jersey in Paris-Nice, Lenny Martinez cheers on steep wall

An annoying day for Jonas Vingegaard in Paris-Nice. The Dane of Visma-Lease A Bike went down with about 85 kilometers to go into the fifth stage and had a bloody lip. In the short but steep final climb, Vingegaard could not follow the competition. The stage victory went to Frenchman Lenny Martinez (Groupama-FDJ), while the American Matteo Jorgenson (Visma) takes over the yellow leader’s jersey from teammate Vingegaard.
