On the 4th day of the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin, Special Olympics gained a great success by gaining two medals in Türkiye athletes Alp Discipline. In the giant Slalom final races held on March 12, 2025 at Sestriere Vialattea Ski Center in Italy, our athletes made their place in the medal chair and made Türkiye proud.
Special Olympics World Winter Games Alp Discipline Giant Slalom Final Racing Eda Nur Biçer, 1: 26.290 with the degree of gold medal won. Beyza Kirenli, who competed in the same category, won a bronze medal with a degree of 1: 56.010, while Şehriye Naz Koncalıoğlu ranked 4th with 2: 10.220. Enver Eren Kebapçıoğlu, who gave a great struggle, completed the races in the 5th place, while Berat Kömbeci was eliminated at the end of the races.
The Alpine discipline races will continue on March 13 with the Super G Slalom race. Slalom final races will be held on 14 and 15 March. On the other hand, Sude Cihan and Batuhan Uludağ, who competed in the skiing walking branch, will be on the runway for the medal on 13 and 14 March.
