In the recovery, the project uses the technology ‘remote setting’. In addition, the larva of the oyster is brought from a breeding center to tanks, in which they settle on a substrate. That is a natural surface on which the larvae can settle. When the young oysters have the suitable size, the substrate is placed on the seabed.
The first experiments with that technique went well. Experiments will be further experimented in the coming months.
