Help with the unraveling of medieval mystery in Groningen: ‘Archive of Ewsums feels like time travel’

A forgotten chest, a powerful family and a hidden past. On March 14, the Groninger Archives will open a time capsule full of secrets. With the help of AI and volunteers, the medieval mystery of the Ewsum family is unraveled. “Archive research feels a bit like time travel,” says project leader Wendy Kolkert (29).
