The list of interested parties for Klara Bühl was long. But the wing striker from FC Bayern ended up decided.
FC Bayern Munich has extended the contract with Klara Bühl. As the German champion announced, the international remains in Munich until June 30, 2027.
Bühl had recently been discussed as a possible reinforcement for FC Barcelona, but now decided to remain with the Bundesliga club. National coach Christian Wück had previously expressed his hope that both Bühl and Jule Brand (Wolfsburg), which was associated with Olympique Lyon, continue to play in Germany.
Bühl switched from SC Freiburg to FC Bayern for the 2020/21 season and developed there into an important player. Since her debut in 2019, the 24-year-old has already played 64 caps and scored 27 goals.
With the German national team she became Vice-European champion in 2022 and won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in 2024 in Paris.
