The second season of Toni Kroos’s second season started on Monday. There was not a rapper who was originally planned according to his own statement.

Toni Kroos stood on the lawn again three quarters of a year after his career end. In his own small field league, the Icon League, which he leads with the streamer Elias Nerlich, the world champion played with brother Felix for the “Two Stripes United” team on Monday. The Kroos team won the first game of the new season 6-1.

But around the event in Düsseldorf there was some turmoil after an Instagram post by the rapper Samra. Because Samra claimed that it was unloaded at short notice: “Although I was personally invited, I was unloaded shortly afterwards. The reason: Due to my past, Toni Kroos does not want to be associated with me.” Samra continues: “He distances himself from me because I had to do with drugs in the past and there were allegations against me – allegations that are proven to be wrong.”

The 30-year-old thus alludes to rape allegations by influencer Nika Irani, who claimed in 2021 in an Instagram posting that Samra was sexually abused. The rapper denied the crime.

What Samra did not contest was drug use. In an interview in mid -2023, he reported that in addition to cannabis, tilidine and cocaine. “I spent a million euros for cocaine in a year,” he told the YouTube channel “Deutschrap Ideal”. In the meantime he is clean.

According to his statement, this was now doomed in the event of appearance in Kroos’ league. In his Instagram statement, Samra wrote that he had “great respect” in front of the German football champion as a person, but then explained: “The more disappointed me in this case. In the Icon League, personalities play with personalities whose past/presence contains much more serious allegations-and it does not seem to be a problem there. But I do not do anything to be done.”

Samra did not give a specific name. “I have been silent for a long time – but it is enough. It is my duty to raise my voice, not only for me, but for everyone who happens to them,” the statement continues.

There is no reaction from Toni Kroos’.
