At Theater Enzo, about 30 children between 8 and 18 years old get theater lessons every Saturday in Theater De Blinkerd from Rob, his wife, mother -in -law Thea and a handful of volunteers.

“Theater is a means to give children self -confidence. You first have to dare to be yourself before you can play someone else. If you see a child, which comes in very shy with the first lesson, I am always more confident, I am always very proud. Wonderful to be able to contribute to that.”

The hard core of the artistic team has been consisting of the same people since the early 90s, and that makes this theater club so special, says Rob. “It is not an association with members, but a club of volunteers who share their passion for theater.”
