“Unfortunately, when responding to the ball, I immediately felt that it wasn’t right,” says Pasveer through the club. “This afternoon I had a scan in the hospital and it confirmed a groin injury. As a result, I will have to rehabilitate at least a few weeks. Of course I will do everything to return as soon as possible. How quickly that will actually be, is just waiting.”
Ajax will play the away match against PEC Zwolle from 2.30 pm next Sunday (without Remko Pasveer). Davy Klaassen will return after his suspension against Eintracht.
